This image is based on an art installation called “Sirens of the Lambs” which was first displays in the streets of New York City in 2013. Here we can see a truck full of stuffed animals that represent the meat industry and is a fierce critique of meat consumption. This truck is intended to represent most farm animals that are going to spend their last moments crammed into a truck on their way to certain death in the slaughterhouse. It is a critique of the way animals die for human consumption.

Cette image se réfère à une installation artistique appelée « Sirens of the Lambs » (« Les sirènes des agneaux »), qui a été présentée pour la première fois dans les rues de New York en 2013. Le camion chargé d’animaux en peluche représente l’industrie de la viande et critique la consommation excessive de viande par l’homme. De nombreux animaux d’élevage passent les dernières minutes de leur pénible vie entassés dans un camion en route vers l’abattoir. Banksy critique le système existant et dénonce surtout la manière dont les animaux trouvent la mort pour satisfaire la consommation humaine.
