„Seagull Attack” is an installation created for Banksy’s art exhibition „Dismaland“ in 2015. The piece features a life-sized sculpture of a woman sitting on a bench, helplessly shielding herself while being attacked by several seagulls. The birds are seen in mid-flight, seemingly aggressive and chaotic, creating a sense of urgency and discomfort. This installation, like many of Banksy’s works, is a commentary on modern life, reflecting themes of anxiety, invasion of personal space, and the often-overlooked tensions between humans and urban wildlife. Dismaland, hosted in Weston-super-Mare, was a temporary, dystopian-themed art park that aimed to challenge conventional perceptions and provoke thought through its subversive art and installations.
