In 2015, Banksy organised another exhibition after a break of six years, in the resort of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset. The title “Dismaland – the Bemusement Park” was chosen as a counterpart to the theme park Disneyland. The artist describes the exhibition as a “family theme park un-suitable for children”. Banksy financed the entire project himself. During the five-week run, a total of 150,000 visitors came to the park.
